TAHITO has been recognised as a 2026 Responsible Investment Leader

Ko Ranginui e tū iho nei, ko Papatūānuku e takoto ake nei. Nō raua ngā mea katoa o te ao. Ko TAHITO he kaupapa haumi ā-taiao, ā-tikanga, ā-whakapapa. E whai ana matou i ngā āhuatanga o te mauri, o te mana, o te tapu, hei aratohu i ā mātou arotake kamupene. Ranginui stands above, Papatūānuku lies below. From them comes everything in this world. TAHITO is a framework of investment grounded in the natural world, in values, and in whakapapa. We follow the principles of mauri, mana, and tapu as our guide in assessing companies.

TAHITO Ltd has been named a 2026 Responsible Investment Leader by the Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA), a significant independent markers of responsible investment practice across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. RIAA's recognition is awarded to organisations that systematically integrate environmental, social, governance, and ethical considerations into their investment processes, verified by external assessment. For TAHITO, this affirms our Te Kōwhiringa Tapu framework which begins with whakapapa, the genealogical thread that connects every company we assess to Papatūānuku as tūpuna, to our ancestors of forests, waters, and atmosphere, and to the communities whose wellbeing capital should serve first. Having an indigenous values-based framework, built on this relational foundation recognised as leading practice within mainstream responsible investment is a signal that the conversation is shifting.

This recognition sits within a broader kaupapa. Since the Fund's original RIAA certification in 2022 and the granting of Sustainability Plus status in 2023, TAHITO has continued to deepen the rigour and distinctiveness of Te Kōwhiringa Tapu, most recently through the activation of our three-tier activist engagement portfolio architecture. The RIAA Responsible Investment Leader designation affirms our path, grounded in indigenous epistemology rather than imported ESG convention, is credible, verified, and replicable.

Ngā mihi nui ki a RIAA, ki ō mātou hoa haumi, ki ō mātou kaitautoko katoa hoki. We extend our appreciation to RIAA, to our investment manager, our distribution partners, and to all the investors who have placed their trust in this kaupapa.
